Where do you find time to practise when you're a mother?

I have a five-year-old and a one-year-old. By the time the house is quiet, I am too tired to even sit. I am not asking for productivity tips. I am asking — how do you actually do it, on the days when you cannot?

Honestly? Some weeks I don't. The practice for me, in those weeks, is to forgive myself for not practising and not narrate it as a failure. The yoga shows up later.

Five minutes on the bathroom floor, after they're asleep. One hand on the belly. That's it. It counts.

Thank you both. I think the bathroom floor might be the most honest answer I've heard in months.

There is a Moroccan saying my mother had — *l'kbira fihal trab*, the older woman is like the earth. Earth doesn't practise. It just receives. Some seasons we are receiving.
